South Gate Graffiti Removal Program

 

  • Schedule: Saturday, January 31, 2015 and Saturday, February 7th; both days from 7AM to 4PM.

  • Students must report to the Public Works Yard on both dates, the address is:  4244 Santa Ana Street  South Gate 90280.

  • In order for each of the students to participate they must sign the attached waiver, students under 18 years old must have a parent or guarding sign for them; waivers need to be submitted no later than first thing on Saturday, January 31st or they will not be able to participate.

  • Students will be transported by City staff to each of the locations they will be removing graffiti from, this would include River Bed/Bike Path, Parks, and alleys throughout the City.

  • Students will have to sign in and out on both dates, this would help us determine if the scheduled hours were completed, a certificate of completion will be provided to them.

  • Lunch will not be provided, students must be able to bring their own lunch; they will not be able to leave the facility when they come in for lunch.

  • A safety vest will be provided to each student and volunteer
